Man Suspected in Upper Marlboro Home Burglary Arrested

The man was arrested Tuesday for a burglary that occurred over the summer.

A suspect in an Upper Marlboro home burglary was arrested Tuesday by the Prince George's Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested Marcus Hardy on an arrest warrant obtained on Sept. 27 by the Prince George's County Police for first degree burglary.

According to the warrant, Hardy allegedly sold $600 worth of stolen property at a local pawn shop on July 6. The property linked back to a June burglary in the 1000 block of Phillips Drive in Upper Marlboro, the warrant stated.

Hardy was arrested at a home in the 10,000 block of Elizabeth Parnum Place in Upper Marlboro Tuesday.

Hardy was charged with theft of less than $1,000 and he was taken into custody and being held on a $25,000 bond.
