The National Night Out in Mount Rainier has been cancelled, citing predicted wet weather in the evening.
Via the Mount Rainier Police Chief's blog:
"Due to the high probability of rain and thunder storms this evening, tonight’s National Night Out celebration has been cancelled. We will be putting together a similar event towards the end of September. Be on the lookout for details!"
Up the road, Hyattsville's National Night Out is still set to go forward.
