Jan. 30

At the 5400 block of Queens Chapel Road, about 6 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a victim’s cell phone from her purse while at a laundromat in this area.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 8:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a store inside.

Jan. 31

At the 7200 block of Wells Parkway, sometime since Jan. 29, someone stole a scooter that had been parked in this area.

At the 5200 block of 43rd Avenue, sometime between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m., someone stole property from a vehicle parked in this area.

At the 2900 block of Belcrest Center Drive, about 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect stole merchandise from an office supply store in this area.

At the 3500 block of East West Highway, sometime between 8:30 and 8:45 p.m., someone stole the victim’s cell phone after she left it on a table at a restaurant in this area.

Feb. 1

At the 6500 block of Belcrest Road, sometime during the night, someone broke into a vehicle parked in this area and removed property.

At the 5000 block of 42nd Avenue, about 11:45 a.m., a suspect was arrested after he broke into a residence in this area.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 3 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a store inside.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 5:30 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a store inside.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 7:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon (handgun).

Feb. 2

At the 6500 block of Belcrest Road, sometime during the night, someone broke into an office in this area and removed property.

At the 3300 block of Gumwood Drive, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., someone broke into a residence in this area and removed property.

At the 6700 block of Calverton Drive, about 1:15 p.m., officers responded to a residence in this area due to a burglary alarm. It was found that someone had broken out the rear kitchen window, but did not gain entry into the house.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, sometime between 7 and 7:30 p.m., someone stole property from a parked vehicle.

Feb. 3

At the 6200 block of 43rd Avenue, sometime since 6 p.m. on Feb. 2, someone broke into a residence in this area and removed property.

At the 3300 block of East West Highway, sometime during the night, someone spray painted graffiti on the side of an apartment building in this area.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 4 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a store inside.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 4:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a store inside.

At the 2900 block of Belcrest Center Drive, about 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect stole merchandise from a donut shop in this area and fled toward Belcrest Road.

Feb. 4

At the 3300 block of East West Highway, about 11 a.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a home improvement store in this area.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 11:45 a.m., two unknown suspects robbed a victim at knifepoint at the rear of the mall.

At the 3300 block of East West Highway, about 12:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a home improvement store in this area.

Feb. 5

At the 6100 block of 39th Place, sometime during the night, someone stole a 1998 Mercury Sable that had been parked in this area. It was recovered in Berwyn Heights on Feb. 7.

At the 4600 block of 42nd Place, sometime between 6:30 and 7 a.m., two unknown suspects entered an impound lot in this area and removed property.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, sometime between 4 and 4:15 p.m., someone stole a 2003 Ford Crown Victoria that had been parked at the mall. It was recovered in Fairmont Heights the following day.

At the Mall at Prince George’s, about 4:15 p.m., someone stole a victim’s laptop computer while he was assisting customers at a kiosk at the mall.

At the 3300 block of East West Highway, about 9:45 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting from a home improvement store in this area.

At the 3300 block of East West Highway, about 10:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon (knife).
