POLICE: Roundup of Home Burglaries Reported in August

Here's a tally of the residential burglaries/robberies from the month of August.

This list was compiled from the published Hyattsville police reports. 

Check out the map to see where these crimes were concentrated.

At the 5600 block of 39th Avenue, sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., someone attempted to kick in the front door of a residence in this area.

At the 3800 block of Oglethorpe Street, sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., someone broke into a residence in this area and removed property.

At the 3900 block of Livingston Street, sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., someone broke into a residence in this area and removed property.

At the 3900 block of Oliver Street, sometime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., someone broke into a residence in this area and removed property.

At the 6700 block of Calverton Drive, sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., someone used a metal pipe to break out the rear sliding glass door of a residence in this area. It did not appear that anything had been taken, so it is unknown if they actually entered the residence.

At the 2900 block of Belcrest Center Drive, about 4 a.m., an unknown suspect broke into a store in this area and removed property.

At the 5700 block of 29th Avenue, sometime between 2 and 4 a.m., someone broke into an apartment in this area and removed property.

At the 6200 block of Belcrest Road, sometime between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., someone broke into an apartment in this area and removed property.

At the 6200 block of Belcrest Road, sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., someone broke into an apartment in this area and removed property.

At the 7100 block of Adelphi Road, about 5 a.m., while the occupants were sleeping, an unknown suspect entered a residence in this area. Several bottles of liquor were stolen in addition to the keys to a 2000 Nissan Sentra, which was also stolen.

At the 2600 block of Kirkwood Place, sometime between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m., someone broke into an apartment in this area and removed property.
