Police Urge Cautious Driving Around Northwestern Tuesday Morning
Local police expect heavy traffic around the high school during the anticipated Westboro Baptist Church protest.
Hyattsville police will be on the site of a protest by the on the morning of March 1.
No roads in Hyattsville will be blocked off due to the event, which also includes a counter protest by area residents, said HPD Spokesman Sgt. Chris Purvis.
If things get out of control, that could change, he said.

Police have alerted residents that extreme congestion is expected in the area from 8 to 10 a.m. Residents and travelers are urged to avoid this area during this time.
