Pr. George's Police Investigate Lewisdale Murder

Police offering reward for info which leads to arrest, prosecution of suspect.

Prince George's County Police are investigating the murder of an 18-year-old man in Lewsidale and have offered an up-to-$25,000 reward for information which could lead to the arrest and prosecution of a suspect.

Police first responded to the 7200 block of 24th Avenue yesterday, Feb. 28, at about 7 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Once on the scene, police found the victim, Meyder Bladimir Yuman, a resident of the 2200 block of Lewsidale Drive, outside suffering from a gunshot wound. Yuman was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

Detectives trying to identify suspects in the case are asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department's Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925. Anonymous tips can be submitted over the phone at 1-866-411-8447, or by sending a text message starting with "PGPD" to the number 274637.  Tipsters can also submit online.
