Prince George's Sheriff's Deputies arrested two male suspects who allegedly robbed and carjacked a man and his young daughter at gunpoint on Thanksgiving.
The Sheriff's office alleges Francis Holmes and James Gross approached the man as he was parked in the 3200 block of Taylor Street in Mt. Rainer. One of the suspects pointed a silver handgun at the victim when he got out of the car and took his wallet, cell phone and vehicle keys, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The victim was able to remove his daughter before the suspects fled the scene in his car. Detectives apprehended Holmes and Gross at the 2900 block of Bunker Hill Rd., according to the Sheriff's Office.
Holmes and Gross were charged with armed carjacking, first- and second-degree assault, armed robbery, and felony theft, along with other charges.
