08-12-13       THEFT FROM AUTO, 3400 blk Hamilton Street: sometime during the night, someone broke into a vehicle parked in this area and removed property.

08-12-13       STOLEN TAGS, 2600 blk Nicholson Street: sometime during the night, someone stole the tags from a vehicle parked in this area.

08-12-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 5:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-12-13       THEFT FROM AUTO, 3300 blk East West Highway: sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., someone removed property from a vehicle parked in this area.

08-13-13       THEFT FROM AUTO, 5500 blk Baltimore Avenue: at approximately 12:15 p.m., an unknown suspect took property from the business in this area and fled south on Baltimore Avenue.

08-13-13       THEFT, 3200 blk Madison Street: at approximately 3:45 p.m., two unknown suspects cut a lock and stole a bicycle from the driveway of a residence in this area.

08-13-13       DRUG ARREST, 4600 blk Baltimore Avenue: at approximately 11:30 p.m., a suspect was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and crack cocaine.

08-14-13       ROBBERY, 2600 blk Kirkwood Place: at approximately 1:30 p.m., two unknown suspects attempted to rob the victim at gunpoint as he walked outside his apartment building.  The victim fought them off and they fled toward the West Hyattsville Metro station.

08-15-13       VANDALISM, 2800 blk Nicholson Street: sometime between 3-31-13 and this date, someone damaged the ignition on a motorcycle parked in this area.

08-15-13       STOLEN TAG, 2800 blk Nicholson Street: sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., someone stole the front tag from a vehicle parked in this area.

08-15-13       THEFT, 3500 blk East West Highway: at approximately 6:15 p.m., a suspect was arrested for shoplifting at a store in the mall.

08-16-13       STOLEN TAGS, 4700 blk Baltimore Avenue: sometime between 8-8-13 and this date, someone stole the tags from a vehicle parked in this area.

08-16-13       BURGLARY, 6900 blk Calverton Drive: sometime between 3:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., someone broke into a residence in this area and removed property.

08-16-13       THEFT FROM AUTO, 3500 blk East West Highway: sometime between 3:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., someone broke into a vehicle parked in this area and removed property.

08-16-13       THEFT FROM AUTO, 3500 blk East West Highway: sometime between 4:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., someone broke into a vehicle parked in this area and removed property.

08-16-13       VEHICLE THEFT, 3400 blk Nicholson Street: sometime during the night, someone stole a 2002 Ford Econoline van that had been parked in this area.  It was recovered in District Heights on 8-21-13.

08-16-13       ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 6000 blk 34th Avenue: at approximately 9:00 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to enter a residence through a window.  When the resident saw his arm reaching in the window, she yelled at him and he fled on foot.

08-17-13       BURGLARY, 6200 blk Belcrest Road: sometime between 6-19-13 and this date, someone stole property from a storage unit in an apartment building in this area.

08-17-13       ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 6200 blk Belcrest Road: at approximately 5:30 a.m., an unknown suspect damaged the patio door in an attempt to enter an apartment in this area.

08-17-13       STOLEN TAG, 2700 blk Kirkwood Place: sometime during the night, someone stole the front tag from a vehicle parked in this area.

08-17-13       THEFT FROM AUTO, 3500 blk East West Highway: sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., someone removed property from a vehicle parked at the mall.
