Two Hyattsville Women Killed in Silver Spring Crash

A third passenger was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Two Hyattsville women were killed Thursday morning in a car accident on University Boulevard in Silver Spring.

A third woman, of Silver Spring, was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to a report by The Gazette.

The driver of a 2003 Nissan, Murano 22-year-old Jenice Richards, and back seat passenger, 19-year-old Tamara Nicole Johnson were killed when the vechicle careened off the road and into the front yard of 611 University Boulevard, the report stated.

Police are still investigating the accident and are not sure if alcohol was a factor, the article stated.
