Busyboys SOTU Watch Party Slated

Poetry, panelists and presidential politics mix tonight at popular Hyattsville hangout.

Hyattsville residents won't have to travel far to quickly share their opinion on tonight's State of the Union address. on Route 1 will be hosting a watch party and discussion beginning tonight at 8 p.m. in the Howard Zinn room.

Panelists include Washington, D.C., journalist Elahe Izadi, College Park blogger Bradon White and Chris Bradshaw, executive Director of Dreaming Out Loud, a nonprofit working to remedy disparities in education opportunities in urban areas. Discussion will be led by Ward One Hyattsville City Councilor Candace Hollingsworth

The organizers are also circulating a 2012 election poll for attendees to answer, with results revealed during tonight's watch party.
