Holiday Trash Collection Schedule
Residents can count on trash collection throughout the holiday season.
Trash collection in Hyattsville will be modified just a bit during the holiday weeks of Dec. 20 and Dec. 27, according to the Department of Public Works. Residents will receive trash collection one day EARLY in order to accommodate the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Changes to December Trash Collection Schedule:
- If your pickup day is normally Tuesday, your trash is collected on Monday.
- If your pickup day is normally Wednesday, your trash is collected on Tuesday.
- If your pickup day is normally Thursday, your trash is collected on Wednesday.
- If your pickup day is normally Friday, your trash is collected on Thursday.
There is no yard waste, white goods or tire collection during these weeks.
