Hyattsville Passes Takoma Park in Population
The Census Bureau's new population numbers show Hyattsville moves up the city list.
The U.S. Census Bureau delivered Maryland’s 2010 population totals this month, and the new numbers show that Hyattsville has passed Takoma Park in population. We’re now the 14th largest city in Maryland. While Takoma Park lost 584 residents since the 2000 Census, Hyattsville’s population increased by 2,824.
