Marriage Equality Meeting Slated for Tonight
Prince George's County delegate, same-sex marriage advocates to gather for community discussion in Hyattsville.
Del. Justin Ross (D-Prince George's County) will host a meeting in support of a state bill allowing same-sex marriage in Maryland. The event is scheduled for Thusday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at Busboys and Poets on Baltimore Avenue in Hyattsville.
The Busboys and Poets events website describes the event as a community discussion on marriage equality.
Joining Del. Ross at the rally is Carrie Evans, executive director for Equality Maryland, and Sultan Shakir, regional field director for the Human Rights Campaign.
