New Hyattsville School Has New Address

Vehicles will not access the school from Nicholson Street says Mayor Tartaro.

The new, officially has a new address at 6110 Editors Park Drive, according to Mayor Marc Tartaro.

Tartaro said that the address change became official last week. His remarks came during this week's City Council meeting after Council Member Carlos Lizanne (Ward 4) raised concerns about the impact the new school would have on traffic in the Ager Road corridor. The Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation is in the preliminary design phase for a project to improve the Ager Road streetscape.

Tartaro said that all vehicular access would be on Editors Park Drive, not on Nicholson. The property does border Nicholson Street, and there will be pedestrian access to the school from Nicholson.
