Police ID Murder Victim in Lewisdale Shooting

Victim is 19-year-old Alexandria man, Lester Amilcar Flores-Quintanilla. Police still searching for suspects.

Prince George's County Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in Lewisdale early Saturday morning. 

The victim, 19-year-old Alexandria resident Lester Amilcar Flores-Quintanilla, was found lying in the 2000 block of Woodberry Street in Lewisdale shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31. Police initially responded to the area for reports of gunfire in the vicinity of 20th and Amherst Street when Flores-Quintanilla was discovered. 

Flores-Quintanilla was declared dead at a local hospital.

Police are trying to identify a suspect and establish a motive in the case and classify the investigation as ongoing.
