Obama to Appear at Community College Today

The president will deliver a speech on energy at Prince George's Community College in Largo.

President Obama is scheduled to appear today at Prince George’s Community College in Largo to deliver a speech on the importance that community colleges play in partnering with businesses to provide innovative solutions to address the country’s energy concerns.

The president is expected to make his remarks just before 11 a.m. at the college’s Novak Field House. The event is by ticket only and is not open to the public, according to officials at the college.

Officials warned that traffic near the college during that time period will be slow.

Classes are canceled until 4 p.m. today. The Robert I. Bickford Natatorium will close at noon.

1 million jobs taken from American citizens and given to aliens ( here on work visas) by the Obama Admin. Does he understand the sky high unemployment rate ?

How fabulous that our President made it into PG County. I still think that if Eleanor Roosevelt can visit Greenbelt that Obama can too...especially our New Deal Cafe. Or even perhaps Bo could visit the Dog Park (he would be an official visitor on official government business!!).
