PREVIEW: Hyattsville City Council Talking Speed Cameras, COLA

The City Council meets tonight at 8 p.m. This is the last scheduled meeting until mid-July.

Tonight’s Hyattsville City Council meeting agenda includes a number of big-ticket items:

  • Mayor Marc Tartaro and the council are slated to amend the FY 2012 police department operating budget that may begin operation within the city in FY 2012;
  • The council plans to approve a in the budget where the was none;
  • Another item is an amendment to the proposed budget for a and that the parking enforcement duties be returned to the police department;
  • Installing a in on the council’s discussion agenda.

 The council meeting begins at 8 p.m. with a presentation of a flag that was flown during Operation Enduring Freedom, honoring Hyattsville.
