Preview: Hyattsville Council Considers $20,000 Window Contract for Old BB&T Building

The Hyattsville City Council meets at 8 p.m. after a crime and safety meeting.

The Hyattsville City Council will take on a few major issues tonight, including:

 

  • Deciding to extend police until Feb. 13. This appointment will continue without further council action until the city hires a full time administrator.
  • Accepting a petition from the residents of Bridle Path Lane against sidewalk installation on either side of the street.
  • Approving authorization for the city administrator to contract with HESS Engineering + Construction for bid documents for window replacement at the former .  The bid amount cannot exceed $20,000.
  • Discussion about redistricting city wards.
