Snow Gives Federal Workers Leave Options

As region deals with snow, federal workers can take unscheduled leave or telework.

As the Washington region deals with the first real bout of winter weather this morning, the federal government is giving its employees the option to stay home. 

Federal agencies are open, but federal workers have the option to take unscheduled leave or an unscheduled telework day, according to a message from the Office of Personnel Management distributed by the notify Me Prince George's alert system.
