Special Collection For Storm Debris Ends

The city of Hyattsville is reminding residents that the Department of Public Works has ended its special collections of storm debris. 

Regular yard waste disposal day continues, however, weekly on Mondays. Residents should trim all discarded branches to under four feet in length and less than six inches in diameter. All yard waste needs to be bundled or placed in paper or plastic bags or trash cans. 

Do not use city issued garbage cans or recycling bins for yard waste.
