Thanksgiving Week Trash Collection Changes Begin Tomorrow

Holiday brings changes to city trash collection schedule.

Because of the Thanskgiving holiday, the Hyattsville Department of Public Works will be changing the trash collection schedule this week.

Those who have their trash regularly picked up on Thursday will have their trash collected three days ahead of schedule on Monday, Nov. 19, instead.

Those who have their trash regularly picked up on Friday will have their trash collected two days ahead of schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

There will be no yard waste collection at all throughout the city on Monday, Nov. 19.

Trash collection routes are unchanged on Tuesday and Wednesday.
