Best Of: Breakfast Spots

Who has the best breakfast in Hyattsville?

Our inaugural "Best of" Patch contest kicks off with a hunt for the best place to start your day.

Does breakfast to you mean gulping down coffee rapid fire in an effort to save what friends you have left — after the last time you went without joe? And please no talking to you before you have that first cup, no matter how delightful the conversation. Perhaps Oscar Wilde had it right when he said “Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast.”

Or maybe you're someone who likes to savor that first meal and sip your coffee slowly. So you want to eat somewhere with comfortable seats, where no one rushes you out to get your table.

Perhaps none of these choices describes you. You want more than coffee for breakfast, but the main requirements for your meal are that it has to be served fast and cost little.

Here are your choices, if we've missed a good one, let us know that in the comments below:

The poll will stay open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties between breakfast spots will be broken by whichever business gets the most positive comments below or in the reviews on their directory listings linked above. Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places and in comments on this article. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

We will announce the winner at noon on Friday. So tell us which is your favorite place for breakfast. And don't forget to tell us why in the comments below.
