Hyattsville Middle School PTA Names New Principal
The school's former principal, Susie Long, stepped down after just one year.
According to a post on the HOPE listserv, new principal will be Kimberly Washington, a former administrator at two Baltimore schools.
Washington, a native of Norfolk, VA, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics-Secondary Education from Norfolk State University and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University.
Before this post, Washington was an assistant principal at William C. March Middle School and interim principal at Booker T. Washington Middle School. She also served as an administrator at Fairmont Heights High School.
