will not be returning to this fall, after several years at the helm, and many years before that as an administrator and teacher.
In a letter to parents, Prince George’s County Public Schools Associate Superintendent Monica Goldson said Thomas would be transitioning into a new role within the school system.
“We thank Mr. Thomas for his dedication and commitment to the children and families of Northwestern, and his tireless efforts as a steward for our senior high school program in Prince George’s County Public Schools,” the letter states.
A survey in English and Spanish is being conducted for parents to let the school system know what they would like to see in Thomas’s replacement. The survey must be completed by July 21, Goldson’s letter states.
