Victor-ious Northwestern Beats Duval

Northwestern Wildcats triumphs over Duval High School with three TDs from senior running back Darius Victor.

For the Northwestern Wildcats, which trounced Wheaton High School 30-0 in their season opening away game, last night's game against DuVal High School opened poorly. The Duval Tigers' Karee Mines returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a quick score. But Northwestern's defense would only allow three more points to be scored, and shut out Duval entirely in the second half.

Senior running back Darius Victor was undoubtedly Northwestern's player of the game. He had 17 carries for 158 yards and scored three touchdowns for the Wildcats. Another 77 yards were gained on the ground by fellow senior Wildcat running back Darnell Green.

Quarterback Jovantae Seard completed four of nine pass attempts for 72 yards in the air.
