Viewfinder: Bake Sale Raises Dough for PTA
Delicious treats help pay for social event, miscellaneous costs.
Parents, teachers and students gathered at to reflect on the lessons they learned during this year's Black History Month. Audience members were treated to a performance by the school band and a multimedia tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. Afterward, members of the Hyattsville Elementary School Parent Teacher Association held a bake sale to help pay for an upcoming movie night social event at the school, among others events, according to PTA President Bart Lawrence.
