Hyattsville Aging in Place will hold their annual The event will take place rain or shine from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Magruder Park.
Guests are asked to bring a dish to share. Drinks are on the house.
Last year's event, held on Oct. 1, saw about 30 people in attendance. It was opportunity for the new Hyattsville Aging in Place organization to introduce themselves to the community. The non-profit organization, which has its own Facebook page, says its mission is to help Hyattsville residents over the age of 60 to remain active members of their community.
