Cyclocross Race Nets $7k For Special Olympics
Organizers of the Hyattsville CX cyclocross race present county Special Olympics bicycle team with big check at council meeting.
During , Hyattsville bicycle shop and area cycling team Route 1 Velo presented a $7,000 check to the Prince George's County Special Olympics Cycling Team. The money was raised at the 2011 a cyclocross on October 9, 2011.
which has been held every year since 2009. Organizers say it is has become the single biggest fundraiser for the county Special Olympics cycling team.
