CASA Prince George's Workers' Center
240-821-5816
The CASA Workers' Center in Hyattsville, a division of the CASA of Maryland organization, provides low-income immigrants with employment services, educational courses, job-training opportunities, legal services, and leadership development with the hopes of helping these individuals become economically self-sufficient. The Workers' Centers are successful because of their employment placement program in which specialists not only place immigrants in jobs but screen and register them in the program, manage follow-up and develop long standing relationships with employers. The Prince George's Workers' Center is the largest center in the country and offers a training lab with visiting instructors from Prince George's Community College to teach construction job training.
