Despite wildfires raging in Texas, he plans on debating. The Washington Post reports that Perry has surged past Mitt Romney and significantly diminished the prospects of Michele Bachmann. 3. The report on a survey of Hyattsville residents' satisfaction with a number of city services was released yesterday before the City Council Meeting. Morning, Hyattsville! Here are today's five things you need to know. 1. At 7:30 p.m. tonight at City Hall here will be a candidates debate for the 13 residents running for office in the May 3 municipal elections. Flawn Williams will moderate. 2. This month at Community Forklift there are a mass of sales including a 10-cent sale for granite scraps. See the website for all the deals. 3. There's a Palm Sunday brunch at First United Methodist Church from 1 to 4 p.m. this weekend. Call the church to make reservations. 4. Yogi Castle yogurt shop is now open at EYA's Arts District Hyattsville.
