Suspect Poses As Courier In Hamilton Street Home Invasion
A man dressed as a courier robbed residents at a home on Hamilton Street in Hyattsville Friday.
Hyattsville City Police are asking residents to be cautious after a man dressed as a courier invaded a home on the 4000 block of Hamilton Street Friday morning. According to a Nixle alert put out by the City of Hyattsville, the suspect is describe as a light-skinned black male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, medium build. He was dressed in an official uniform from a well-known delivery company, although city staff would not releasing the name of the company. The suspect displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and took a small amount of cash and some personal items from the home, according to the alert. Police believe he had an accomplice.
