Young and not-so-young gather to ring in the holidays with St. Nick at city hall.
Hyattsville's children got to hang out with Santa yesterday during the city's breakfast and lunch with Santa event at the Hyattsville Municpal Building on Gallatin Street. Kids had the opportunity to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas, as well as the chance to create some cute arts and crafts. This was the second event of the weekend in Hyattsville designed to ring in the holiday season. The night before, city residents gathered at Magruder Park for the lighting of city's holiday tree.
