Principal Jerome Thomas will not be returning to Northwestern High School this fall.
Principal Jerome Thomas will not be returning to Northwestern High School this fall, after several years at the helm, and many years before that as an administrator and teacher. In a letter to parents, Prince George’s County Public Schools Associate Superintendent Monica Goldson said Thomas would be transitioning into a new role within the school system. “We thank Mr. Thomas for his dedication and commitment to the children and families of Northwestern, and his tireless efforts as a steward for our senior high school program in Prince George’s County Public Schools,” the letter states. An administrator who will see to that the students will not just get off the bus and walk down to The Plaza at Prince Georges or loiter in and around University Park and College Park without even going to their homeroom. This problem has continued to increase every new school year. more ›
