Police Locate Missing Elderly Hyattsville Man

86-year-old man went missing from 5800 block of Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville.

Update - Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, 3 p.m. - Willie Cheeks has been found, according to police.  Sgt. Chris Purvis, public information officer with the Hyattsville City Police Department, said that Cheeks was found by members of the Howard County Police Department earlier this morning in Burtonsville and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Purvis said that Cheeks disappeared from the Independence Court Nursing Home in Hyattsville, where he currently lives. Police Search for Missing Bladensburg Man

Jimmy Richardson, 71, suffers from dementia. He was last seen Wednesday evening.

The Prince George's County Police Department is searching for a missing Bladensburg man who suffers from dementia. Seventy-one-year-old Jimmy Richardson, who is not on medication for his condition, was last seen by his neighbor at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at his residence at the 4900 block of 56th Ave. in the unincorporated section of Bladensburg. Police believe Richardson walked away from the residence, and he has not been seen or heard from since. Police provide the following description for Richardson: Anyone with information about Richardson is asked to call the Prince George's County Police Department’s District I Investigative Section at 301-699-2601. Update: Police Unsure if Body Found in Laurel is Missing Diabetic

County police are asking the public to help locate a man who has been missing for nearly a month.

Update, May 20: According to the Gazette, Prince George's County Police are working to determine if a body found Sunday in Laurel is that of 28-year-old Ali Osman Khadar, a Brentwood man who has been missing for nearly a month. Police found the body of an unidentified male at the 13200 block of Mid-Atlantic Boulevard in Laurel, near the Dinosaur Park, the Gazette reports.
