Prince George's County Public Schools are opening two hours late on Monday.
Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) are opening two hours late on Monday due to early morning freezing rain in the area. According to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) website, the federal government is opening at noon on Monday. Workers are encouraged to remain off the roads until 10 a.m. Employees also have the option of unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework. Those previously scheduled to telework should work as usual. The Prince George's County goverment is open on Monday, with the liberal leave policy in effect.
CountyClick 3-1-1 Call Center is aimed at assisting residents.
Prince George’s County residents will now have a more centralized way to get questions answered for non-emergency inquiries. A call center, CountyClick 3-1-1, opened this week with representatives ready to receive non-emergency citizen requests ranging from fixing potholes to alerting officials about blighted properties. Residents only have to dial 3-1-1 to be connected to an operator at the call center. County Executive Rushern L. Baker said the center will offer a more streamlined way for residents to get information on county services. “CountyClick 3-1-1 is a one-stop location that residents can call to get answers to questions and resolve non-emergency issues,” Baker said in a statement.
