I've lived in Hyattsville for so long that I think my New Yorker status is expired. But I'm not complaining (except when the Redskins lose to the Giants) because Hyattsville is not far from the D.C. hustle and the mellow suburban life. It's amazing how much this town has changed within the last 10 years. The Art District is a real treat; full of shops and restaurants. I can't wait to have Yes! Organic Market and Bus Boys and Poets opening  just a bike ride away from my house. Say "hi" if you happen to catch me on my new red Cruiser.
