I just read your post on dining out with a toddler. I can't leave a comment, so I thought I'd post here. It took me years to realize that my kids acted up in restaurants that were loud. That's why they were calm outside, and would start freaking out when we went inside (where the normal noise of a restaurant was overwhelming to them....) Not that I can find a quiet restaurant (it's just not done these days), but understanding that helped us find places that we could take our kids.
