Theresa Barry
Theresa is a freelance writer/editor covering health and science in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Previously, she worked as an assignment editor for health and general news at Bloomberg News and a copy editor at The New York Times and USA Today. She traveled to Durban, South Africa, with a team of reporters to cover the XIII International AIDS Conference in 2000. At Gannett News Service, she was the copy editor on Gannett News Service's Pulitzer-winning coverage of misdiagnosed SIDS deaths.
